You buy a splashback once every 10–15 years, so "solid or printed" isn't the key question. The real ones: how does it survive the steam zone, what happens to colour after 5 years of sun, can you replace one panel without dismantling the kitchen.

1. Solid body-coloured glass
Pigment is added at the factory. Doesn't fade, doesn't scratch. From 7 600 ₽/m². For those who want install-and-forget for 20 years.
2. ORACAL film
Cheaper, any colour in a day. Fades after 7–10 years on the sunny side. From 6 200 ₽/m². Downside — steam zone speeds up degradation.
3. UV print (photo or pattern)
Printed directly onto glass at 1440 dpi. From 9 800 ₽/m². Tip: pick patterns and textures, not family photos. You'll see the splashback more often than the family album.
4. Frosted (sandblast or satin)
Non-glossy, hides drops and fingerprints. From 8 400 ₽/m².
5. Bronze or graphite
Body-coloured glass. Graphite mutes bright kitchens, bronze warms cold ones. From 9 200 ₽/m².
6. LED-backlit
Perimeter or through-light backlight. From 14 200 ₽/m². 12V driver hidden in upper cabinets.
7. Antibacterial coating

02What ads don't show
Kitchens over 4 m need 2–3 panels with 2–3 mm silicone seams that darken over time. Order a single panel up to 3.2 m (our tempering line max). Outlet cutouts are CNC-machined BEFORE tempering — you can't add one after install. A 90° corner is either butt-joint (visible 1 mm silicone) or 45° mitered (seamless, +30%).
